Mahmutlar's Friends is finally born. The club for all English speaking people in our lovely city. The Norwegians have had their club for one year. Mahmutlar's Friends will be based on the same initative and intentions.
Ray Mangan comes originally from Dublin, but has lived many years in Turkey. First in Istanbul, then he decided to move to Mahmutlar. Together with his lovely Caty, he is entertaining our citizens with Tango.
A passionate hobby that has developed into a beautiful profession.
The goal for Mahmutlar's Friends is to make sure that all English speaking visitors will get useful information about what is going on in Mahmutlar, which rules are valid and how things are working here, as Turkey is so different than where we come from.
A lot of property owners have experienced spending parts of their holidays to sort out various administrative matters. Also to sit at the management's board of a complex in Turkey is a big challenge, especially when you only have a few weeks holiday. Therefore we are planning to get all the complexes to join, so that our experts will be on hand to give advices, such as reliable lawyers and so on. We will be there to advice and assist you in order to give you a hassle free holiday.
We want you to just enjoy your time!
The aim of the club, of course, is also to socialize and meet new people. Discover your environment and the Turkish culture: we organize excursion, cultural trips and so on. To help you to feel more integrated, we also have multicultural parties and meetings.
In the near future children and teenagers will have their own club as well.
Our meeting point and office are located in Mahmutlar, in Mehmet Cakir Caddesi, next to the cosy restaurant Aphodite's Garden (shortened to Aphrodite's).
